Hotel Tamil Nadu in Rameswaram operated under the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC) is set to conduct ‘Kongu Nadu Food Festival,’ on May 15, 16 and 17.
A press statement of TTDC, said, the festival is scheduled to be conducted across all branches of the hotel in the State.
To introduce the unique flavors of the Kongu region, this food festival would take place at the Amudham Restaurant from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on the three days.
High-quality traditional vegetarian dishes, prepared with the moderate spice and natural aroma characteristic of Kongu cuisine, will be served. A fee of ₹250 per person has been proposed for those attending this food festival.
The statement further noted that quality Kongu Nadu cuisine, which appeals to everyone from adults to children, would be prepared and served without any artificial colours or flavour enhancers.
Residents of Rameswaram and outstation tourists are requested to make use of this rare opportunity to taste and experience Kongu Nadu food.

The press statement emphasised that the hotel Tamil Nadu, Rameswaram (located near Agni Theertham), operating under the TTDC, is set to offers air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms at affordable rents, inclusive of free breakfast and dinner.
