A 46-year-old man was allegedly killed by his son-in-law in Kolavennu village of Kankipadu mandal in Krishna district.

The victim, T. Nagaraju, arranged his daughter’s marriage to L. Avinash a few years ago. When Nagaraju reportedly questioned Avinash for allegedly harassing his daughter, the accused struck him on the head a wooden stool, killing him on the spot on Sunday.

Following a complaint, the Kankipadu police registered a case and launched a hunt to nab the accused.
