Rohit Jain has been appointed as a deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India. Mr. Jain will replace T. Rabi Shankar who retired late last month.

The government has appointed Rohit Jain as a deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, according to a government notice.
Mr. Jain’s appointment will take effect from May 3 for a period of three years, the notice said.
