Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry has commented that the people of Tamil Nadu has once again reaffirmed that were clearly using their right to vote to hold the ruling party accountable for its mistakes.
The people have expressed their confidence that founder and president of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam C. Joseph Vijay would deliver good governance across all sectors, read their statement.
On behalf of the trade and industrial sector, the Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce extended their congratulations and best wishes to Mr. Vijay, “Who is set to assume the office of Chief Minister following a historic and decisive victory.”
The promises outlined in the manifesto of the party, envisioned under the concept of “new generation politics,” have greatly impressed the people, their statement added.
“Initiatives such as start-up support schemes, financial assistance for Small and Medium Scale Enterprises, and the objective of transforming Tamil Nadu into a global investment hub, along with Smart City and Smart Village schemes, have generated significant public interest,” it noted.
Further commitments, including guaranteed income for farmers, interest waiver on agricultural loans, and the improvement of basic infrastructure such as roads, transportation, and drinking water facilities, as well as women’s safety and employment opportunities, along with various social welfare schemes, have collectively created a strong sense of confidence not only among the industrial and agricultural sectors but also among the general public.
“It is certain that by promptly examining the issues faced by the trade and industrial sectors, and by establishing advisory committees comprising experts from various fields to swiftly resolve their concerns while also taking into account their views before making decisions, the gap between the government and the people can be reduced, thereby enabling the delivery of exemplary governance that will be widely appreciated by all,” the statement elaborated.
