The BJP Government in the Centre which was favouring its corporate friends to make huge profit out of the low international price of crude oil, has now transferred the burden of higher crude oil price to the common man, complained CPI (M) State secretary, P. Shanmugam.
Addressing the media here on Friday, Mr. Shanmugam said that the price of crude oil which was just 70 US dollars before February 28 has now gone up to 126 US dollars following the US-Israel war with Iran.
