Dindigul City North Police on Monday seized 1.3 kg of ganja from two persons. The operation led the police to the house of a suspected supplier from where the authorities further seized 0.85 grams of methamphetamine.

On receiving a tip-off, the police patrolled Nagal Nagar and intercepted a car and seized 1.3 kg of ganja from the vehicle. Two persons, M. Raguram of Erode and Z. Abdul Basith of Dindigul, were arrested and the vehicle was also seized.

Following an inquiry, the duo revealed that the supplier was also staying in Nagal Nagar. When the police rushed to the spot, the suspect fled the scene.

Police searched the premises and seized 0.85 grams of methamphetamine from the house. They also seized a two-wheeler.
