P. Mallikarjuna Rao, Advisor to the Andhra Pradesh State Government and retired Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, has called upon citizens to become “forest friends” and commit themselves to conserving natural resources during a visit to Sankalpa Art village, near Pedagadi in Pendurthi mandal of Visakhapatnam district, on Wednesday.
Addressing students of Greendale Educational Institute, Mr. Rao stressed that crop cultivation must align with nature and warned that the extinction of any living species posed a direct threat to human survival.
