A youth working as a bike taxi rider was allegedly stabbed in a road rage incident in Bengaluru.

The victim, Aditya, is a first year pre-university student. On Thursday night, Aditya was riding a bike with his friend near a bar on the Global Village Road, R.R. Nagar, when two bike-borne men behind him picked a fight over Aditya not giving way.

The road rage incident soon escalated into a fistfight and the other bike rider allegedly stabbed Aditya with a knife and fled from the scene. Aditya was rushed to a hospital and is now said to be out of danger.

The R.R. Nagar police have registered a case and have launched a probe to apprehend the accused.
