A fire broke out at a paint shop on Airport road at Ramanattukara in Kozhikode on Sunday (May 10, 2026). According to officials, the fire initially started in a room on the ground floor of the shop. No casualties were reported.
The incident occurred around noon. The shop was closed for the holiday.
As paint and other chemical substances were stored inside the shop, the fire spread rapidly. The blaze was brought under control after four units of the Fire and Rescue Services were deployed.
