Waltair Divisional Railway Manager of Lalit Bohra conducted an inspection of Jagdalpur station on Wednesday to evaluate existing passenger amenities and the steady progress of developmental activities under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
Accompanied by a team of senior officials, the DRM examined key areas including the station’s circulating areas, retiring rooms, waiting halls, and the food court. The inspection also extended to operational establishments such as the relay room, booking counters, and parcel offices to ensure service efficiency and infrastructure standards.
During the visit, Mr. Bohra placed special emphasis on the modernisation works currently underway, specifically reviewing the construction of the new wide Foot Over Bridge (FOB), the expansion of parking facilities, and the overall upgrading of the station building.
Following the station premises review, the DRM conducted a window trailing inspection of the Jagdalpur-Koraput section.
