Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has expressed happiness over the issuance of a Gazette notification by the Ministry of Railways on establishment of the South Coast Railway (SCoR) Zone with Visakhapatnam as its headquarters.

Describing it as fulfilment of a long-cherished dream of the people of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Naidu, in a post on X on Tuesday, said creation of the new railway zone marked a historic milestone for the State.
