A video clip of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam’s newly elected legislator from Thanjavur Assembly Constituency, R. Vijaysaravanan, dancing with a bottle in his hand has gone viral on social media.
In the video clip, Mr. Vijaysaravanan is seen dancing to the Tamil movie song, Thanni thotti thedi vantha kannu kutti naan. Inquiries with local TVK cadre reveal that the video was taken when the MLA-designate was on a tour of western districts with his friends.
Those who could not stomach the rise of TVK in Tamil Nadu politics had wantonly posted the video on social media and ensured that it went viral, they said.
