The State government transferred 14 IPS officers on Monday.

The Greater Chennai City Traffic Police (GCTP) will be headed by Additional Commissioner B. Shamundeswari, who has been shifted from the post of Inspector General of Police (IGP), Social Justice and Human Rights. The incumbent, Additional Commissioner of Police G. Karthikeyan, has been shifted and posted as IGP, Social Justice and Human Rights. 

Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Ayush Mani Tiwari has been posted as ADGP, Headquarters, after being shifed from the post of ADGP/Chief Vigilance Officer of Tangedco.

IGP/Tiruppur Commissioner S. Rajendran has been shifted and posted as Madurai City Police Commissioner. 

Kapilkumar C. Saratkar, who assumed office as Madurai City Police Commissioner on June 7, has been shifted to the Greater Chennai City Police as Additional Commissioner of Police, North. IGP/Additional Commissioner, North, Pravesh Kumar, has been posted as IGP, Coastal Security Group. IGP S. Rajeswari has been posted as Tiruppur City Police Commissioner. 

Anil Kumar Giri has been shifted from the post of Salem City Police Commissioner and posted as IGP, Idol Wing CID. A.G. Babu has been posted as IGP/Additional Commissioner (Headquarters), Greater Chennai City Police. K. Joshi Nirmal Kumar has been posted as IGP/Salem City Police Commissioner after being shifted from the Greater Chennai City Police. P.C. Thenmozhi has been posted as IGP/Additional Commissioner of Police, Central Crime Branch, Greater Chennai City Police, while A. Radhika has been shifted and posted as IGP, Administration, at the Police Headquarters. 

C. Mageshwari has been posted as IGP, Special Investigation Cell-I, DVAC, and A.T. Duraikumar has been posted as IGP, Establishment.
