VIT Chennai, in collaboration with The Hindu Education Plus, will organise a webinar on ‘Visual media careers: Where to start and how to succeed’ as part of its career counselling series.

The visual industry offers diverse and promising career opportunities with the rapid expansion of digital platforms, film-making, content creation, animation, advertising, broadcasting, and social media storytelling. The webinar aims to help students, aspiring creators, and young professionals with practical insights into emerging trends, career pathways, higher education opportunities, industry expectations, portfolio building, and importance of communication and storytelling in the digital era.

The resource persons include Padmanabhan T., Associate Professor, School of Media Arts and Technology, VIT Chennai; C. Pichandy, Eminent Professor – Media and Communication, and former Head, Department of Communication, PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore; and Suresh Chandra Menon, actor, writer, and director.
