A rowdy-sheeter was found murdered at Laskhar Mohalla Circle in the city on Friday.

Narasimha, 42, a driver, was attacked by members of a rival gang around 4.30 p.m., according to the preliminary investigation. Senior police officers, including Additional SP A.G. Cariappa, visited the location.

The Kote police registered a case based on a complaint by the victim’s wife, Sneha.

The police suspect that a group led by Anil, a rival gang leader, was involved in the murder. Three police teams have been formed to track down and arrest the accused, according to a police communique.
