The Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation (MMC) announced a control room number and phone numbers of Monsoon Emergency Response Teams concerned to contact in case of issues faced during rains.
Issues
People can approach the teams to report waterlogging and inundation; overflowing storm water drains; fallen trees and other obstructions; rain related sanitation issues and emergencies pertaining to monsoon.
The Corporation comprises three zones (Malkajgiri, Uppal and LB Nagar) with 14 circles and 74 wards.

“The Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation Monsoon Emergency Response Team is on a round-the-clock alert to address waterlogging, stormwater drain overflows, fallen trees, sanitation concerns, and other rain-related emergencies across all 14 circles,” as per a post on X. Its control room’s WhatsApp number is 9063421300.
Besides this, phone numbers of an in-charge officer, and officers of the three zones, 14 Circles were announced.
