The minimum temperature in the national capital was recorded at 26.2°C, 1.8 degrees below the normal, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The weather department earlier predicted partly cloudy sky with the possibility of thunder and lightning. The maximum temperature is expected to reach around 37°C.
Relative humidity was recorded at 61% at 8.30 a.m.
The air quality stayed in the 'moderate' category at 9 a.m., with an Air Quality Index (AQI) reading of 143, Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data showed.
According to the CPCB, an AQI between zero and 50 is considered 'good', 51 and 100 'satisfactory', 101 and 200 'moderate', 201 and 300 'poor', 301 and 400 'very poor', and 401 and 500 'severe'.
