Ramanathapuram District Government Model School achieved a 100 per cent pass rate in class 12 board examinations.

The Ramanathapuram District Government Model School is operating in Muthupettai near here.

In this school, 74 boys and 69 girls appeared for the class 12 board examinations. Of them, all students passed the examination.

Of all the students who studied there, 114 scored above 80 percent marks. Seven students in Computer Science and one student in Commerce secured 100 out of 100 marks. Keerthana, a student of this school, secured 582 marks out of 600, while Harshini secured 572 and Parthiban secured 571 marks.

In the JEE Main exam for engineering studies, six students from this school have qualified to join NITs and top engineering colleges.

Furthermore, 47 students have appeared for the NEET exam.

The students, who are staying at the District Government Model School hostel and training for the JEE Advanced exam, eagerly viewed and celebrated their results once they were posted on the school notice board.
