An emergency meeting of the Cabinet Sub-Committee on the ‘Indiramma Kutumba Jeevitha Beema Padhakam (IKJBP)’ will be held on Tuesday (May 19) under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.
The meeting will be attended by Ministers N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, D. Sridhar Babu and P. Srinivasa Reddy, along with concerned officials and stakeholders. The panel is expected to finalise modalities for effective implementation of the scheme.
The State government plans to launch the universal life insurance scheme to provide a coverage of ₹5 lakh to every household in Telangana.
