National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets from Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science (MITS) in Madanapalle of Annamayya district successfully completed the National-Level Adventure and Mountaineering Camp organised by the Indian Himalayan Centre for Adventure and Eco-Tourism in Sikkim.
Vice-Chancellor C. Yuvaraj said NCC cadets Gangarapu Jyotheeswar, Ramireddy Laxman and M. Bhargavi represented the institution at the prestigious programme, which was attended by 15 cadets from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The camp featured trekking, mountaineering, river rafting and paragliding activities in the Himalayan region.
The Vice-Chancellor said the training programme enhanced the cadets’ endurance, teamwork, leadership qualities and preparedness for national service.
