Police have arrested a youth who sexually misbehaved with a teenage girl near Vadakkankulam in the district.
Police said construction worker G. Sundar, 23 of Gandhi Nagar near Vadakkankulam under Panagudi police station limits trespassed into a house and sexually harassed a 14-year-old girl.
Based on the complaint from the girl’s parents, the Valliyoor All Women Police arrested Sundar on Wednesday under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
He was remanded in judicial custody.
