At least three persons are suspected to have hurled two country made bombs at a private liquor bar near Watrap in Koomapatti police station limits on Monday.
Police said that the trio came to the private club and consumed liquor at noon.
While they left, it is alleged that they hurled the bombs and escaped.
A worker identified as Mayan, 34, was injured. Based on the owner’s complaint, the police registered a case.
The CCTV cameras were being examined. Senior officers visited the spot and further investigation is on.
