Since track renewal works will be carried out at the Namakkal railway yard, changes will be made in train services on April 29 and May 1, 2026 as follows.
A release from the Salem Railway Division said Train No. 16811 Mayiladuturai–Salem Express, scheduled to leave Mayiladuthurai Junction at 6.15 a.m., will be short-terminated at Karur Junction on those days. The train will run only from Mayiladuthurai Junction to Karur Junction and will not operate between Karur Junction and Salem Junction on these days.
