The State government on Saturday issued an order constituting a Cabinet Sub-Committee headed by Home Minister G. Parameshwara, an educationist and a former Higher Education Minister of the State, to review the final report submitted by the State Education Policy (SEP) Commission and make appropriate recommendations. The Cabinet on May 7 resolved to form a Cabinet Sub-Committee.
Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister H. K. Patil, Social Welfare Minister H. C. Mahadevappa, Revenue Minister Krishna Byre Gowda, Medical Education and Skill Development Minister Sharan Prakash Patil and Higher Education Minister M. C. Sudhakar are the members of the sub-committee. School Education and Literacy Minister Madhu Bangarappa not being named a member of the sub-committee has raised eyebrows.
