Attacking midfielder Caroline Weir has left Real Madrid women to sign a three-year deal with Lyon, the French club said on Tuesday.
Scotland skipper Weir is Madrid’s all-time top scorer with 63 goals in 125 matches and was its player of the season twice.
Her arrival in Lyon coincides with the departure of American veteran Lindsey Horan Heaps.
Weir turns 31 later this month and her contact runs through to June 2029.
