A draw will ensure India atop the group

India enters the game with healthier goal difference after its 11-0 win over Maldives. That means a draw is enough for the host to finish first.

Bangladesh coach Peter James Butler suggested India’s attacking approach could change the nature of the contest, as Bangladesh struggled more against a Maldives side that sat deep and slowed the game down. India’s front-foot style could either stretch Bangladesh or give the defending champion transition space.

It was a statement victory in last game, can India carry the momentum forward?

India’s attack looked varied against Maldives, especially through Aveka and Karishma’s headers. Crispin Chettri also said India had time after the opener to work tactically, recover after the IWL season, and fine-tune mistakes.
