Spain put on a dominant display during its FIFA World Cup 2026 match against Saudi Arabia and led 3-0 at the half-time in Atlanta on Sunday.
The performance was much-needed for La Furia Roja after its middling outing against Cape Verde in the campaign opener that ended in 0-0 draw.
Lamine Yamal got Spain ahead in the 10th minute before Mikel Oyarzabal found the net twice in three minutes.
Spain’s biggest win at the FIFA World Cup came in 2022 when it defeated Costa Rica 7-0. Dani Olmo, Marco Asensio, Ferran Torres, Gavi, Carlos Soler, and Alvaro Morata scored in that match, with Torres notching up a brace.
