The FIFA World Cup is back on U.S. soil for the first time since the 1994 final as the host takes on Paraguay at the SoFi Stadium on Saturday.
USA and Paraguay have met just once in the World Cup, during the inaugural edition in 1930. USA won the group stage game 3-0, thanks to a hat-trick from Bert Patenaude.
But ahead of the game, there will be an opening ceremony with several big names to feature. It will be the final of three opening ceremonies at the FIFA World Cup 2026, with individual shows already taking place in Mexico and Canada.
