The Mission Olympic Cell (MOC) has inducted multiple rowers into the Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS) Development Group ahead of the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya and other upcoming events. The list has been finalised following the completion of annual national selection trials and crew finalisation by the Rowing Federation of India (RFI).
A total of 22 Rowers are now a part of the TOPS Development group across six boats. This crew will now prepare for major international competitions featuring Rowing, including the Asian Games and World Cup circuit. Among the prominent names inducted are Paris 2024 Olympian Balraj Panwar, Asian Games 2022 silver medallist Arvind Singh, Asian Games 2022 double medallist Jaswinder Singh, and more.
These 22 rowers have been grouped across different boats, including Men’s Single Sculls (M1X), Men’s Double Sculls (M2X), Men’s Quadruple Sculls (M4X), Lightweight Men’s Double Sculls (LM2X), Men’s Coxed Eight (M4-) and Women’s Coxless Fours (W4-).

Divyanshi makes history with double gold in WTT Feeder series
Divyanshi Bhowmick produced a dream performance to become the youngest Indian woman ever to win a WTT Feeder Women’s Singles title in Pristina, Kosovo.
The young Indian star, ranked World No. 211, showcased extraordinary composure and fighting spirit to defeat Chinese Taipei’s Yeh Yi-Tian, the World No. 38, in a thrilling five-game final.
After dropping the opening game, Divyanshi mounted a spirited comeback to register a memorable 3-2 (8-11, 11-8, 11-5, 7-11, 11-7) victory, announcing her arrival on the senior international stage in emphatic fashion.
At just 15 years of age, she is believed to be the second-youngest player in the world, after Japan’s prodigious Miwa Harimoto, to capture a Women’s Singles title on the WTT Feeder circuit.
Adding further sparkle to an already unforgettable campaign, Divyanshi also clinched the Women’s Doubles gold medal alongside fellow Indian teenager Syndrela Das.
The talented Indian pair defeated the Japanese combination of Sachi Aoki and Cocona Muramatsu in a pulsating final that kept spectators on the edge of their seats.
After losing the opening game, the Indians fought back brilliantly to prevail 3-2 (7-11, 14-12, 12-14, 11-8, 11-7) in a contest lasting a little over 30 minutes.

Jaden completes a full sweep at 2026 ADAC Junior Cup Czechia race
India’s Jaden Immanuel enjoyed another fruitful weekend at the 2026 ADAC Junior Cup, sweeping the results at the second round in Brno, Czechia.
The prodigy finished fastest in all sessions, qualified on Pole for both races and converted them into wins. Jaden now leads the Honda Junior Cup Championship standings ahead of the third round.
