Brazil and Haiti will look to chalk up their first victory of the FIFA World Cup 2026 when they face off in a Group C clash at the Philadelphia Stadium on Friday.
Brazil enters the clash having shared points in its opening match against Morocco, in a 1-1 draw.
Haiti, on the other hand, failed to hold off Scotland, suffering a narrow 1-0 defeat.
The Brazil vs Haiti FIFA World Cup 2026 Group C match will be officiated by Spaniard Alejandro Hernández Hernández.
Hernández has been a FIFA-listed referee since 2014 and primarily officiates in La Liga, notably officiating in six El Clásico matches.
At the international level, he refereed the high-stakes European World Cup Qualifier between Italy and Norway in 2025, which marked a historic 4–1 win for Norway.
Hernández will be making his World Cup debut as a main referee in the Brazil vs Haiti encounter.
