Real Madrid midfielder Fede Valverde was not a part of the lineup for the El Clasico against Barcelona at the Camp Nou on Sunday.
Valverde was reportedly involved in a locker room scuffle with teammate Aurelien Tchouameni during the week. Although the club said there were no punches thrown between the two players, Valverde hurt his head and was sent to a hospital.
He subsequently missed the training session later in the week and was ruled out for 10-12 days.
Madrid will also be without star forward Kylian Mbappe, who was ruled out as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury.
