Netherlands and Japan played out a thrilling 2-2 draw in a Group F FIFA World Cup 2026 game at the Dallas Stadium in Arlington on Sunday.
Virgil van Dijk opened the scoring in the second period before Japan found the equaliser six minutes later through Keito Nakamura.
Crysencio Summerville restablished the lead for the Dutch in the 64th minute with his first international goal. But it didn’t prove to be the winner when Daichi Kamada deflected Koki Ogawa’s header into the net in the 89th minute to help Japan earn a point.
