Haiti on Friday became the first team to be eliminated from the FIFA World Cup 2026 after its 0-3 defeat at the hands of Brazil in Philadelphia.

Sebastian Migne’s side lost its opener 0-1 to Scotland before expectedly going down against Brazil.

It is yet to play Morocco in the final round but cannot salvage its campaign. Even if it beats Morocco and Scotland loses to Brazil in the final round, Haiti will still finish bottom of Group C.

Since the first tie-breaker in group stage is the head-to-head record, Scotland, having beaten Haiti, will finish third if the two teams have the same number of points.
