The action so far!
The game was built up as a final, and it sure has lived up to the expectations.
Both Arsenal and Man City have decided to approach the game in a similar manner, with both forward lines stationed to prevent any passes from going into midfield.
Rayan Cherki justified his regular selection in the squad with lovely footwork to dribble past the pillars of Arsenal’s defence and slot the ball past Raya.
However, all of its dominance came undone just two minutes later after Donnarumma committed a grave error, which allowed Kai Havertz to close him down and bundle the ball into an empty net.
That goal blew the game open, and Arsenal grew in confidence, constantly threatening to breach the City defence again. At the other end, top scorer Haaland is yet to have a clear sight at goal, constantly being shadowed by Gabriel.
As it stands its advantage Arsenal in the title race as it leads by six points having played a game more than City.

Two changes for Mikel Arteta!
Injuries have severely affected Arsenal in the title run-in, which means that it will be missing the services of the likes of Bukayo Saka, among others.
The team, however, will be boosted by the return of Martin Odegaard to the starting lineup alongside Zubimendi, Rice, and Eze. Kai Havertz also starts for the Gunners while Martinelli and Gyokeres, who played in the midweek UCL quarterfinal clash against Sporting, will begin the game on the bench.
It was a solid defensive showing against Sporting from Arsenal, but will it be able to recreate that showing against a title-chasing Man City?

No changes from Pep Guardiola
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Manchester City’s boss Pep Guardiola, who is occasionally guilty of switching things up in big games, has instead chosen to field that same 11 that dispatched Chelsea 3-0 last week.
Khusanov and Guehi have formed a solid partnership at the back, while Doku, Cherki and Semenyo look likely to play in a line behind Haaland, who is leading the attack.
New signing Guehi and Donnarumma in goal are the only changes from the side that took on Arsenal in the League Cup final.
Can Guardiola’s men recreate the performance from that day, or will the Gunners get one back?
