Five-time champion Brazil will face Japan in the Round of 32 stage in FIFA World Cup 2026.
The fixture was confirmed after Japan played out a 1-1 draw against Sweden to finish second in Group F, behind the Netherlands.
Brazil had earlier topped Group C with two wins and a draw. Morocco, which finished runner-up behind Brazil, will now take on the Dutch.
The Brazil vs Japan Round of 32 match will happen at the Houston Stadium in Houston on June 29, with kickoff set for 10:30 pm IST.
Brazil and Japan had faced off in an international friendly in October 2025, with the Asian side triumphing 3-2.
