Canada is on the cusp of defying the odds and making through it through to the knockouts as topper of Group B at the FIFA World Cup 2026.
All it needs to do is pick one point against Switzerland when the two teams meet at the Vancouver Stadium in Canada on Wednesday.
Even with a loss, Canada could still make it through to the round of 32 as one of the eight best-placed teams finishing in third place courtesy of its positive goal difference.
