India’s Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 campaign came to an end with defeat against Australia in its final group-stage match at Lord’s on June 28.
Harmanpreet Kaur’s side crashed out after suffering defeats to South Africa and Australia, ensuing that it finished two points off qualification at the end of the league phase.
India’s next assignment is a Test match on the same ground against England beginning on July 10.
Its next T20I assignment is a three-match series against Zimbabwe beginning on October 16, which will be followed by a three-match ODI series.
The next ICC tournament it will compete in is the ICC Champions Trophy beginning in February 2027.
