Sarvesh Kushare broke the men’s high jump National Record on Saturday during the Senior Inter-State Athletics Championships, breaking the mark set by decathlete Tejaswin Shankar.
Kushare cleared 2.31m, leaping past Shankar’s 2.29m-mark.
Kushare has set the bar to 2.35m in hopes of bettering the NR.
