Sunderland and Manchester United played out a goalless stalemate in a Premier League clash at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.
Sunderland controlled the game for most part of it, but failed to make the most of its chances against a jaded United side.
The Red Devils came alive only towards the end, producing a flurry of chances in the final minutes. Forward Matheus Cunha had the best of the lot, after wing-back Patrick Dorgu found him inside the six-yard box with a cut-back.
But, Cunha’s right-footed shot was repelled by home keeper Robin Roefs.
