Two-time I-League (now Indian Football League) champion Gokulam Kerala survived getting relegated to I-League 2 — Indian men’s football’s third tier — on Tuesday.
It was a late stoppage-time winner by Trijoy Savio Dias in a must-win match against Namdhari FC, with which it was battling in the relegation zone of the Indian Football League 2025-26, to keep Gokulam up in the second tier.
The win took Gokulam’s tally to 12 points, two more than Namdhari which dropped down.
