Ivory Coast gets its FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign underway against Ecuador at the Philadelphia stadium in Philadelphia on Sunday.

Manchester United winger Amad Diallo has not been named in the starting line-up by coach Emerse Fae. The forward line features Nicholas Pepe, Bazoumana Touré, Yan Diomande and Elye Wahi.

The 23-year-old has not been a constant starter for the African team since the start of 2026. He has played the full 90 mins only once this year, in a loss against Egypt.

The forward, however, will look to provide impact off the bench like he did in the pre-World Cup friendly against France where he scored the winning goal.
