Ousmane Dembele struck a hat-trick and powered France to a 4-1 win over Norway in its final Group I match at the FIFA World Cup on Friday in Boston.

The two-time champion ended as the winner of its group, winning all three games.

As the winner of Group I, the pre-tournament seedings state that France will face the third-placed team from one of Groups C, D, F, G and H.

The multiple options have been kept to ensure that teams from the same group do not face off again before the quarterfinals.

As things stand, France is slated to play Sweden, which ended in third place in Group F. France will play its round of 32 match on July 1 in New Jersey.
