The group stage of the FIFA World Cup 2026 is coming to its business end and Brazil, the most successful team in the history of the tournament, will look to make it two wins in two as it takes on Scotland in its final group-stage match on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the Scots made a comeback to the competition after nearly three decades, defeating Haiti in their first group-stage game before Morocco pipped them.
They will try to create history by moving past the group stage for the first time when they play Carlo Ancelotti’s men in Miami, with a minimum of two and a maximum of three teams qualifying from each group.
Scotland has never beaten Brazil in men’s international football – a stat it will look to change in the FIFA World Cup 2026.
