Nigeria has named a 27-member squad for Unity 2026, set to be played in the United Kingdom between May 26 and 30. The Super Falcons will face Zimbabwe in the first match, with the winner facing either Jamaica or Zimbabwe in the final.
The Unity Cup is a friendly tournament outside the FIFA international window, and is played by countries having a large diaspora in the United Kingdom. All matches of the 2026 edition will be played at The Valley — the home of Charlton Athletic.
Nigeria has gone with a second-string squad for the tournament, as it is also playing Poland and Portugal in the international window that follows. In its Unity Cup squad, Wilfred Ndidi is the only big name, with the former Leicester City midfielder now plying his trade for Besiktas.
Ndidi is likely to lead the Super Falcons in the tournament as he has already captained the national team before.
