The second half of the Indian Super League 2025-26 fixture between NorthEast United and Mohun Bagan Super Giant was delayed due to incessant rain in Guwahati.

The rain has played spoilsport in Guwahati as referee Crystal John tells the players to come off the pitch.
Broadcast footage showed the referee attempting to kick the ball over puddles formed on the pitch before consulting with his peers and deciding to halt the game.
The match has been delayed for 30 minutes.

Robson Robinho’s strike remains the difference between the two sides. The first 20 minutes or so, it was all Mohun Bagan but NorthEast United has done well to regroup and create a few threatening chances. But those are yet to reap rewards. And the rain has just increased in intensity.
