Five-time IPL champion Mumbai Indians will wear black armbands during its match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday as a mark of respect to singer Asha Bhosle.

Bhosle passed away on Sunday morning after suffering cardiac arrest. She was 92.

The Wankhede Stadium also observed a minute of silence ahead of the game.

MI comes into this contest on the back of two consecutive losses, against Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals, after winning its opening game against KKR.

Defending champion RCB has had a better start to the season in comparison, winning its first two games, before losing to RR in its previous fixture.
