RCB opener Virat Kohli was dismissed by for a golden duck by Deepak Chahar against Mumbai Indians in Raipur on Sunday.
This was Kohli’s second duck on the trot this season, marking the first time in four years that the 37-year-old has been dismissed for consecutive ducks in an IPL season.
Kohli was dismissed for a two ball duck in the previous match against Lucknow Super Giants courtesy a peach of a delivery from pacer Prince Yadav that shattered his stumps.
The last time we witnessed this playing out was in the 2022 season, when Kohli failed to put runs on the board in consecutive matches against Lucknow Super Giants and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
