Switzerland vs Bosnia and Herzegovina remained a mellow goalless draw until the last quarter, which saw five goals scored.
Johan Manzambi opened the scoring, coming off the bench, in the 74th minute, giving fresh life to Murat Yakin’s side.
Six minutes later, the Bosnians were reduced to 10 men as Tarik Muharemovic was shown a straight red for foul on Breel Embolo.
Breel Embolo then assisted Ruben Vargas as the Swiss doubled their lead, taking one step further for a commanding win. The drama, however, was pending.
Both goalscorers, Manzambi and Bargas, combined for the third goal in the last minute of regulation time to widen Switzerland’s lead.

Ermin Mahmic then made an instant impact to pull one back for Bosnia within two minutes of coming on through a clinical hit from inside the box.
The cherry on the cake came from Switzerland captain Granit Xhaka, who converted from the spot to complete a dominant 4-1 win against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
