Five-time champion Brazil began its FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign with a 1-1 draw against African champion Morocco on Sunday.
Ismael Saibari broke the deadlock for the Atlas Lions with a sensational chip over Brazil goalkeeper Alisson Becker after running onto a defence-splitting pass from Brahim Díaz.
Vinícius Júnior levelled the score for the Seleção with a piece of solo wizardry, carving through the Moroccan defence before curling the ball into the back of the net.
Brazil will be back in action on June 20, when it takes on Haiti at the Philadelphia Stadium.
The match will kick off at 6:00 a.m. IST (8:30 p.m. local time on June 19).
