The USA will face Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Round of 32 stage of FIFA World Cup 2026.

The Americans are set to finish top of Group D, while Bosnia finished third in Group B and is assured to qualify for the Round of 32 as one of the eight best third-placed teams.

The fixture was confirmed based on FIFA’s pre-set combination chart for determining which third-placed team faces which group winner that eliminated all other possibilities other than the ones where Group D winner faces the third-placed team from Group B.

The USA vs Bosnia and Herzegovina match will be played on July 1 in Santa Clara, California.

The two teams had previously met thrice in international friendlies, with the USA winning two of them while the third one ending in a draw. The most recent of these three games came in 2021, when USA won 1-0.
